Five eminent musicians who had travelled from Japan for the International Composers Festival formed a wind quintet and played outside the café, while Festival organisers distributed leaflets to promote the Festival, which takes place this weekend in Hastings and Bexhill.

Artistic director and Hastings resident Polo Piatti, who founded the Festival, said: “We’re enormously privileged to have musicians of this calibre travel from the other side of the world to visit us in Hastings and Bexhill. This pop-up concert is a taster of some of the beautiful music you can hear during the Festival.”
