COFFEE MORNING: Fund-raising in Rustington
FUND-RAISING to help maintain a memorial and garden to victims of a wartime plane crash at Rustington continues this weekend with a coffee morning alongside the garden in Chaucer Avenue.
The event, on Saturday, July 16, will include a cake stall, raffle, sale of Mosquito aircraft badges and of the Chaucery Memorial Book, signed by the author, Rustington historian Mary Taylor, telling the story of the crash in February, 1945, which killed three civilians and the two-man crew of the Mosquito aircraft when it crashed onto bungalows.
