The Bare-Faced Blues Festival starts at the Gecko Bar in Grand Parade, St Leonards from Sunday (September 7).
Featuring groups such as Tea Chest Blues, Jem Turpin/Jez Walker and Buick 6, the event runs both on Sunday and on September 14 from 1.30pm.
Organiser Barry Taylor said: “I began organising theBare-Faced Blues Festival early this year. It was a simple idea, combining my favourite music with some fundraising for St Michael’s Hospice. The first person to advise me was Pete Prescott, of Beatles Day fame, and he was enthusiastic about my idea.
I have produced a CD featuring everyone playing the festival, on sale for £5 with proceeds to St Michael’s. Admission is free and a collection will be held for the hospice.”
