All are welcome to party like it’s the 1970s, to mark the end of this year’s Coastal Currents Arts Festival.
Late Checkout - Coastal Currents’ closing party takes place on Sunday (October 6) at the White Rock Hotel, Hastings, from 7.30pm to 10pm.
This promises to be an interactive evening of live music and games courtesy of Boogaloo Stu, Richard DeDomenici, Seth Kriebel and Search Party.
Play Boogaloo Stu’s Crimplene Millionaire, an oversized board game, and relive the 1970s.
Join the Swivelympics, a new international sport launched by Richard DeDomenici, which requires nothinig more than an office chair and a lot of puff - the current record is 17 swivels.
For the especially energetic, artists Search Party will challenge the people of Hastings and St Leonards to a marathon game of table tennis.
If you are after something a little quieter, take part in Seth Kriebel’s Unbuilt Room, where a performer guides participants through a virtual world, solving puzzles without even leaving their seats.
Admission to the event is free, and there is a pay bar.
