St Michael's Hospice celebrated its 21st birthday with the help of the founder's two sons.
The hospice in Upper Maze Hill was opened by the Duchess of Kent 21 years ago to the day and staff, patients and well-wishers gathered to mark the occasion.

Among them were special guests Robin and Martin Leach, sons of hospice founder Sheila Leach.

It was a double celebration as the event marked the official opening of the hospice's new reception area as well its birthday.

See our exclusive video of the celebrations.
