Rye United's and Little Common's games have joined the casualties

Rye United and Little Common have had their football matches scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) postponed.

Rye were due to host Guernsey in the last 32 of the FA Vase, but The Salts failed a pitch inspection this afternoon and the game has been rearranged for next Saturday (January 26).

Common’s fixture away to Littlehampton Town in the Sussex County League Division Two Challenge Cup has also been called-off according to Littlehampton’s Twitter feed.

Hastings United’s visit from Carshalton Athletic in the Ryman League Premier Division and Sidley United’s trip to Crowborough Athletic in Sussex County League Division One were cancelled earlier today. In fact, the entire Ryman Premier programme has already been wiped out.

Westfield have Tweeted this evening to say that all of their games tomorrow are off unless there’s a heatwave within the next 19 hours. Bexhill United’s trip to Newhaven in Sussex Division Two is subject to a 10am pitch inspection.
