Well over 200 runners took part in the Big 10K along Bexhill seafront on Sunday morning.
The 218 finishers were greeted by sunny but breezy conditions in the seventh annual staging of a TL Sports Events-organised race which had a new start/finish location opposite Coast Bar & Grill.
James Mountford, of Hastings Athletic Club, dominated the race and crossed the line in a time of 35:02. Gary Judges, from Hailsham Harriers, was second in 35:48 and Aaron Bourner a distant third in 38:19. Frances Delves, also of Hailsham Harriers, was the leading lady and 55th overall in 47:35.
