South Saxons are through to the Sussex Plate final for the second time in three years.
The Hastings club saw off lower grade St Francis 4-0 in the semi-finals on Saturday and will take on Penguin in the decider on Sunday April 29.
Jamie Busbridge opened the scoring with a simple tap in and the same player doubled Saxons’ lead. A good passing move led to man of the match Dan Burnett making it 3-0 at half time.
Rob Whitehouse, Busbridge and Jim Towers all went close in the second period before Eldridge rounded-off the scoring with a perfectly placed flick from a penalty corner.
A full report will appear in Friday’s Hastings Observer.
