Having missed out on qualifying for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship, Adrian Gray has set his sights on the World Soft Darts Live Championships.

The St Leonards thrower has jetted out to Hong Kong for the Grand Final of a series known as ‘The World’ which will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

There have been eight stages in ‘The World’ schedule earlier in the year, and Gray has reached one quarter-final and the last 16 on three occasions. Those results have made him the number 21 seed for the Grand Final and he will come in at the second round stage.

With $1m Hong Kong dollars up for grabs, Gray is in a confident mood. Live streaming will be available at dartslive.com. Soft tip darts consists of two legs of cricket and two of 701 with the deciding leg chosen. Unlike in steel tip darts, players can finish on a treble, as well as a double and the bullseye.
