Sidley United and Bexhill United will go head-to-head at The Pilot Field tonight (Saturday).

The crosstown rivals will battle it out for the Hastings & District FA Senior Cup in a repeat of last year’s final which Sidley won 2-1 at Gullivers.

Sidley manager John Lambert intends to field his strongest available side, while Bexhill boss Gerard Moyse plans to continue his policy of including fringe and reserve team players. Kick-off is 7.30pm.

Elsewhere tonight, Rye United will continue their fixture onslaught by making the long trip to Arundel in Division One of the Sussex County League.

Speaking immediately after the 1-0 win over Chichester City on Saturday, Rye boss Scott Price said that five or six reserve team players are likely to come in with the John O’Hara League Cup final just three days away.

One other game is scheduled to take place tonight and that is in Reserve Section (East) of the Sussex County League with Little Common entertaining Westfield. Kick-off at the Recreation Ground is 6.15pm.
