Bexhill United and Westfield were victorious on Saturday, but Little Common were beaten again.
Bexhill made it three wins and clean sheets in their last four matches with a 4-0 success at home to struggling Saltdean United in Sussex County Football League Division Two.
Jamie Salvidge gave Bexhill a 20th minute lead and Tristan Jarvis doubled their advantage 18 minutes later. Jarvis struck twice more in the closing quarter-of-an-hour to complete his hat-trick and make it five goals in two games.
Elsewhere in the division, Westfield chalked up their first home win of the season against the team they beat to record their maiden away victory. Goals from Dominic Clarke, Aaron Parris and Matt Dadswell sealed a 3-1 triumph over Oakwood.
Little Common suffered a third straight defeat with a 6-3 reverse in a remarkable game away to second-placed Loxwood. Having been 2-0 down, Common rallied to lead 3-2 thanks to goals from Adam Smith (2) and Martin Denny only for Loxwood to score four more without reply.
