Hastings United manager John Maggs was pleased with Saturday’s victory over Three Bridges, if not the second half performance.

Kenny Pogue’s eighth minute header from a Sam Adams free kick gave United a 1-0 win which kept them top of Ryman Football League Division One South despite an edgy finish to the game.

United’s under-21 and under-18 teams are both in action tonight (Monday). The older side will host Whitstable Town in the Ryman U21 League South Division, while the younger team will visit Lewes in the Ryman Youth League South Division. Both games will kick-off at 7.45pm.
