Hastings United’s footballers have received a home draw this lunchtime (Monday) in the next round of the FA Trophy.

The U’s will host fellow Ryman Football League Division One South club South Park in second round qualifying on Saturday November 12.

Reigate-based South Park are two places and two points above United in the league, albeit having played three more matches.

United were 4-1 winners when the sides met at The Pilot Field on the opening day of the league season, but South Park’s recent form is good with away wins against Hythe Town and Faversham Town in their last two outings.

The winners will receive £3,250 from the FA’s prize fund.

United have come through two rounds to reach this stage, scoring seven goals and conceding none. They won 4-0 at home to Aylesbury United in first round qualifying on Saturday.
