Hastings United have been handed a local derby in next season’s FA Cup.

The U’s will travel to Eastbourne United AFC or Hailsham Town in the preliminary round on Saturday August 30.

Ryman Division One South outfit United play their football one level above Sussex County League Division One sides Eastbourne and Hailsham. Eastbourne reached the FA Vase semi-finals last term.

Should United win that, they will again be on their travels in first round qualifying on Saturday September 13 against Chatham Town or Whyteleafe.

United will also begin their FA Trophy campaign away from The Pilot Field as they visit Ryman Division One North team Cray Wanderers on Saturday October 18.

The winners of that match will entertain Beaconsfield SYCOB or Faversham Town in first round qualifying on Saturday November 1.

United will host Holmesdale in FA Youth Cup first round qualifying during the week commencing Monday September 22.
