HASTINGS United will be at home to lower league opposition in the next round of the FA Cup if they can get past Hitchin Town.

The winners of tonight’s replay will entertain Wessex League Premier Division side Blackfield & Langley in the fourth qualifying round on October 20.

If the U’s emerge unscathed from what is bound to be a tough match at Hitchin’s Top Field ground they would be just one win away from the first round proper and a possible game against League opposition.

Hastings drew 2-2 at home to Hitchin at the weekend despite twice taking the lead through Dee Okojie and Bradley Goldberg. The visitors hit back through John Frendo and Zak Burke.

The club will be running a coach to Hitchin, leaving The Pilot Field at 2.30pm.

Costs have been lowered from previous years’ arrangements to £10 for all adults and £2 for under-18s and seats will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Contact the club during normal office hours on (01424) 444635, or call or text Simon Rudkins on 07703 358399.
