Sean Ray and Jimmy Elford - both former Hastings United captains - are due to attend pre-season training which begins tonight (Thursday).
"We're going to see how it goes," said Hastings manager Tony Dolby. "They are not on trial as such, it's just a case of seeing how it goes for them and for us."

Since leaving The Pilot Field both players have been playing for Ashford Town who endured a troubled season behind the scenes.

Midfielder Dan Dolton, goalkeeper Ollie Barton and young striker Liam Upton are also expected at training.
