Sidley United twice came from behind to win 4-2 at home to Farnham Town in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
Stuart Collier marked his debut for The Blues with a hat-trick as they set up a home tie against Ryman Division One South outfit Eastbourne Town on Sunday August 31.

Manager Andy Laskey said: "I thought we were getting stronger and stronger, and w
e thoroughly deserved it."

On an overcast, windy and chilly afternoon at Gullivers, United fell behind to a crisply struck low drive by Richard McCann in only the seventh minute.

But they were a different proposition after half time and Collier brought them back on level terms in the 48th minute after a mistake by away goalkeeper James McArthur.

Farnham went back in front through Steve Harding 14 minutes later only for Brian Ray to make it 2-2 with a deft flick three minutes after that.

Sidley went ahead for the first time in the 71st minute, Brad Poole flicking on Ian May's long throw for Collier to turn home.

The visitors had a goal ruled out for pushing on 84 minutes and Collier ended their hopes with his third and United's fourth in the sixth minute of added time.

Rye United lost 4-3 after extra-time in their preliminary round tie at Ringmer on Saturday.

A Steve Johnson double and one from Dean Phillips brought Rye back on level terms after they had trailed 3-0 only to be edged out during the additional half-hour.
