Disappointment for Scott in Beijing

Battle shooting star Steve Scott suffered disappointment in the Olympics this morning.
The 23-year-old finished 13th in qualifying for the double trap discipline, albeit only two targets outside the top six who advance to the final.
Scott travelled to Beijing hopeful of a medal after beating off stern competition to be crowned European Champion last month.
He has shot tremendously well over the last 18 months to two years and it is this form which has earned him a place in the Great Britain squad for the Games.
The former World Junior Champion's other career highlights include victories in the 2003 World and European Team Championships, plus an individual bronze in last year's Europeans and fourth place in the 2007 World Championships.
