Fairlight youth group Activate set to celebrate first decade

Fairlight youth group Activate is holding a big celebration to mark reaching a decade mile-stone.
Past and present members will join together for an afternoon and evening of fun on Fairlight Recreation Ground on Saturday June 21 from 3pm - 9pm.

There will be sideshows, games and a bungee run from 3pm, followed by team games, including tug of war at 5pm.

An evening of live music takes place from 6pm.

There will be stalls, refreshments and a raffle with prizes which include a chance to be the Hastings United mascot and swimming lessons.
The club was set up for local youngsters ten years ago by Fairlight mum Wendy Hatch.

The club has its own meeting place facility on the recreation ground.

Wendy said: "It has gone from strength to strength and we are really proud with what we have achieved over the past ten years."
