Welcome to the Observer newspaper series
Observer head office in Telford Road, St Leonards
The Hastings Observer is a tabloid newspaper published every Friday. Established in 1859, it has a weekly readership of over 60,000 and is printed every Thursday night at Portsmouth. Its sister titles are the Bexhill Observer, Rye and Battle Observer, and its associated free midweek newspapers the Hastings and Bexhill Adnews series, which are all produced from our offices at Woods House, Telford Road, St Leonards (pictured left). We have committed editorial and advertising teams, and our main aim is to serve the community. Hastings is an exciting area, undergoing massive regeneration. There are many exciting challenges ahead but the town is definitely changing for the better - and the Observer is proud to be playing a key role in that.
