Mrs Lloyd was joined at the celebrations at the Hastings and Rother Voluntary Association for the Blind home by her 101 year-old brother Geoff, family, friends, association committee members and Hastings Mayor Cllr Maureen Charlesworth.
Staff, residents and guests were entertained by performers from Opera South East who sang happy birthday to Mrs Lloyd - the oldest of the 20 residents, who has been at the Upper Maze Hill home for almost 10 years.
Manager Julie Keeler said: "It was a very busy afternoon. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, and lots and lots of people came.
"Sherry keeps Shelagh going - a little tipple in the evening."
- Residents will be taking part in a sponsored walk on August 30 to raise funds for the association. Anyone who can help out on the day is asked to call Julie on 01424 436359.
