A fourth man has been charged in relation to an alleged kidnap in Cumberland Gardens at the weekend.
Matthew Orton, 29, from Brookland, Romney Marsh, Kent, will appear at Hastings Magistrates Court this morning (Tuesday) charged with robbery.

Philip O'Brien, 23, of North Street, St Leonards, his brother Lee O'Brien, 22, of the Fox pub, North Street, and Nathaniel Billings, 23, of Knights Meadow, Battle, appeared in court yesterday (Monday) and did not enter a plea to a joint charge of robbery of £850 cash from Luke Stevens.

Flanked by three security guards, and wearing prison-issue blue sweatshirts, blond Lee O'Brien, his darker-haired brother, and afro-Carribean Billings, muttered in court and were asked to keep quiet by the justices.

The three men were remanded in custody, to stand trial at Lewes Crown Court, with the first hearing on November 28.
