ANYONE tracing their family tree should pay a visit to St John the Baptist Church on Saturday June 24 or Sunday June 25.
Over the course of those two days a number of historic documents and paperwork will be on show in three display cases.
Many of the pieces will be on loan from the records department in Lewes although the church themselves will be supplying
photographs and copies of old registers and transcripts.
Evan France, the church's vicar, said: "This is a great opportunity for local people to come down and learn about their family history without
having to travel far and wide to do so."
Alongside the documents there will also be a team of experienced researchers on hand to deliver advice or help.
Visitors are invited between 10am and 6pm on the Saturday and noon and 6pm on the Sunday.
The church is also holding a flower festival and on the Saturday there will be a concert starting at 7pm.
