The wacky world of reality television came to Hastings this week as Channel 4s Wife Swap team rolled into town.
Cameras were rolling across Hastings as local couple Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and his model girlfriend Leah Newman became the latest stars of the Bafta winning show.
The popular Channel 4 show is renowned for bust-ups and personality clashes and the Ruddock episode, which kicks off a new series, has an extra twist - the other couple are gay.
Former Liverpool, Spurs and England footballer Ruddock and his busty girlfriend swapped with transvestite singer and Celebrity Big Brother star Pete Burns and his partner Michael Simpson.
Dead or Alive frontman Pete moved into the home Neil shares near Hastings with his seven-month-old daughter while Leah spent a week living with Michael Simpson in his London pad.
Ruddock does his weekly shopping in town and only last season turned out for a local Sunday league football team.
Filming has been taking place across Hastings, including scenes shot at Tesco and Ruddock's favourite pub the Welcome Stranger.
Despite the very obvious differences between Ruddock and Pete Burns, the former footballer admits the pair had a surprising amount in common.
The special episode will be screened in the autumn.
Celebrity Wife Swap is the latest in a string of programmes to be filmed in the Hastings area.
Only last month Channel 5's How to be a property developer was filmed in St Leonards and period drama Foyle's War was shot in Wellington Square and parts of the Old Town.
