THE residents of Eisenhower Drive are correct in the idea that the hotel is not suitable to house the homeless.
Why put them up in a hotel when there are such nice houses worth £400,000 whose current residents would, I am sure, be happy to take in those less fortunate than themeselves in order to level out the incredible luck they have had in life that has allowed them to live in homes of such luxuries.
I mean come on, if this is how the lucky members of our society treat others, then maybe society should level the field a bit.
What would they say if the residents of Hastings and St Leonards decided that they don’t not want the residents of Eisenhower Drive in our community?
Maybe instead of spending all that money on a house they should have spent it on developing thier heart and brain, I think the Wizard of Oz could help.
