Vote for your police commissioner

IF you’ve ever been someone who’s complained about the police ‘not doing enough’ or the levels of a particular crime in your area etc, then please do take responsibility for changing that situation by voting for the new Police & Crime Commissioner for Sussex on 15th Nov (otherwise you have no right to complain again!).

Having said that, I am tempted to boycott the whole thing as it hasn’t had nearly enough time to be processed and understood by the British public, but spoiling my vote won’t stop someone getting voted in (as it’s unlikely that no one in the whole of Sussex will vote!). However, what I am sure about is I don’t want to vote for anyone with a political affiliation. Policing should be free from politics. You can make your own mind up by looking at www.chosemypcc.com.
