Treatment was second to none

The NHS does not always get the praise it deserves.

I am writing on behalf of my family following my Mother’s diagnosis of cancer last year. Fortunately the outcome has been good and she is still with us and hopefully for a considerable time to come.

But this would not be the case without the care and support she received from the NHS throughout her Chemotherapy and the major operation she underwent at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Special thanks must be given to the staff on the Judy Beard ward at the Conquest Hospital where she was wonderfully looked after during her chemotherapy sessions and also to the Woman’s Health team and in particular Dr Lancaster and Mr Larsen-Disney.

As I have said the NHS does get a knocking at times but my mother was treated as person throughout and the care she received was second to none.
