Thrilling to get a glimpse of station

Very many thanks for telling readers in advance about the week’s times and position for the chance of seeing the International Space Station as it passed overhead each evening recently.

As a result I got a perfect view of it that first Friday, October 9, in a clear and moonless sky.

Which leads me to think that the mysterious flying object photographed by a local lady (Observer, October 3) was most likely the ISS?

Thrilling to get a glimpse into space, knowing there were people up there, perhaps even then hydrating their supper of Pot Noodles or whatever!
