Stop it happening to someone else

WHEN visitors to the Conquest Hospital feel that the care given to their relatives and loved ones is less than acceptable they should not just tell staff but write to PALS (Patients Liaison Service) at the Conquest or to Amber Rudd MP, who is extremely helpful.

Visiting a 64-year-old patient left unwashed and without food and water for almost two days, and whose belongings had already been packed in a blue and grey hospital bag, I was upset and horrified.

It was as though he had just been left there to die.

This caused much distress so please put pen to paper. It could stop it happening to somebody else and improve the care of vulnerable people.
