State of roadsides is appalling

I travel on the A21 to get into Hastings town centre and am appalled at the state of the roadsides from the junction with A28 to Junction Road.

The vegetation is hanging with old plastic bags, sheets of paper and the ground is smothered in all sorts of litter.

It looks really dreadful and if I were a visitor coming to the town I would wonder what sort of down-and-out sleazy place I was driving into. I don’t know who is liable for keeping these areas trimmed and clean but it must be in the town’s interest to sort this problem.

So please anyone involved with the local borough council, as a matter of urgency before spring and the summer season is upon us, do something.
