Over the years I have often marvelled at the creativity of the HBC gardening team and their work on the seafront flower beds but, alas, it would appear that either lack of funds or lack of imagination, or both has led to an incredibly boring and hugely disappointing display along the entire seafront.

Our rejuvenated fountain which had so much debate regarding the centre piece has become the most boring and ugly array of almost grey foliage.
