Saxophonist was a unique talent

My comment is to register my good fortune at having had two decades of listening to Pete playing ‘My kind of Jazz’.

I also associate with other jazz groups and can say that, given my experience, Pete was unique in attracting highly talented young musicians to travel miles at their own expense to play as guests in furtherance of this great jazz tradition.

I shall greatly miss our weekly encounters, the music, humour and friendship.
