Praise for surgical unit at Conquest

I WOULD like to praise highly all the staff at the Richard Ticehurst Surgical Unit at the Conquest Hospital.

Starting with reception, who were courteous, considerate and very thorough regarding registration, paperwork and generally very helpful.

I did not have to wait long for my procedure after being thoroughly assessed by Mr Plail’s team. On arrival for the procedure, I was even given painkillers for a headache which I had - it was stress related in anticipation of the operation - and was thoroughly put at ease.

The cleanliness and efficiency of all staff including cleaners, orderlies, and porters was admirable.

The skill of the operation, stitching and general condition of the wound was outstandingly expert.

I sincerely thank all concerned for making it a pleasant, efficient and very welcoming stay
