PLEASE would you explain the rationale as to why the conservation/planning officer finds the solar panels on my neighbour’s roof offensive when viewed (through binoculars?) from the East Hill, but my looking the other way at the night sky polluted by the offensive lights on the East Hill Lift is apparently of no consequence?
Why is it that I have to pay council tax to up the town’s carbon footprint to illuminate a facility that is not operative at night?
These lights are encroaching upon my property, sanity and purse.
Please turn them off. I was under the impression that money was not available for necessary services, let alone annoying frivolities.
