While it will be quite inconvenient not to have a loo in Harold Place, I shall be, as a born and bred Hastings person, quite pleased to see the last of that pseudo Greek temple, blocking our view of the sea.
It is in fact, an important vista from the town centre for our visitors and tourists.
Hopefully, the remaining space will be used for suitable plants and not an expensive car-parking exercise.
Again, hopefully, I trust there will be really adequate signage for directing us to the nearest loos, so important for the elderly residents and visitors of all ages.
