I was informed this morning about an article written relating to Dr Chopra’s Surgery at Roebuck and Guestling and was horrified at what I read. What utter, utter drivel!
Shame on you Care Quality Commission, you wouldn’t recognise an excellent doctor’s practice if it hit you between the eyes.
I was Dr Chopra’s first patient at Guestling when he took over from Dr Chinnery and have nothing but the highest praise for him and his staff.
He is the most caring, professional and knowledgeable doctor that my partner and I have ever come across having lived in many parts of the country and overseas.
Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble for either him or his very professional team . The staff are all very courteous, and helpful, and will always try to get you an appointment that day if it is urgent unlike other practices, I know for a fact that in Eastbourne area where I work, friends have to wait one to two weeks!
When my mother was seriously ill and dying two years ago he was the doctor on call on a Sunday in the Bexhill area and he did more for her in one emergency visit than her own practice had done in months.
Both my partner and I have been extremely well looked after by the practice for many, many years and long may it continue. We certainly wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.
Special measures indeed. I would suggest perhaps the CQC’s time would be better spent barking up a different tree. Leave Dr Chopra alone to continue doing what he does best. He is an exceptionally good GP and what the NHS is all about!
