Hastings Proms a resounding success and such fun too

REGARDING the Hastings Beer and Musical Festival, I would like to pay a huge thank you to Roger Wilcock and his wife, Carol, for not only reintroducing the Hastings Proms and making it such a resounding success, but also for the hours of work and encouragement they put into these occasions.

This was my first year with the Hastings Big Choir, and wow, what fun the rehearsals and the concerts (the Jubilee concert at St Mary-in-the-Castle being the first) have been.

Roger is truly phenomenal with his musical expertise, encouragement, knowledge, sense of humour, organisational skills (Carol’s department, I suspect).

Our neighbours were truly impressed with the choir, especially with some of the quite challenging repertoire.

They didn’t realise that the choir would be quite that good.
