I was upset to read your article last week about the CQC report on Dr Chopra’s Surgery. As stated, the inspection took place in July 2016, seven months ago.

You quote remarks made by the CQC deputy chief inspector alleging serious concerns and tell us that the practice had been contacted for a comment.

Are you seriously expecting practice staff to comment on an inspection made so long ago?

Was the deputy chief inspector not aware there has been a recent inspection and that the practice is awaiting a report on this?

I have been a patient at Dr Chopra’s practice for over 12 years and have nothing but praise for him and his excellent staff.

They are without exception hard-working, efficient, friendly and caring. I hope they are not demoralised by your article.
