Enjoying the seafront on a bike

WHEN I heard that our lovely promenade was to be divided up between strollers and bikers I was flabbergasted, and when the council had the neck to go ahead with its plans I was astounded.

For a long time I hated it, always thinking the seafront had been ruined, but I have changed my mind, and now, with the construction of the cycle track from Glyne Gap to Bulverhythe, I think the Hastings and St Leonards track was not only a wonderful idea but a courageous decision.

Strollers and cyclists enjoy the seafront side by side, as well as skaters and scooter riders.

The new cycle track will only make the environment even better.
