A rough deal for road users

IT is interesting that East Sussex Highways is responsible for using our money to repair and maintain the roads.

Yet the state of the roads surrounding Hastings have potholes that you could lose a small child in, so why is a new footpath being constructed where there wasn’t one, on the A21, which appears to be linking a public school with a public house and less than a dozen houses on route?

The time spent on it so far would have built a mile of motorway and the materials used could have carried out a proper repair to the many potholes needing repair in this part of East Sussex.
