A NEW television series featuring a St Leonards white witch starts next week.
Keving Carlyon, 54, of Dane Road, stars in the six-part BBC3 series called Boom Town, which airs next Wednesday (August 14) at 10pm.
The first episode features short sketches with several different characters from various walks of life.
The 30-minute show is made up of real people documenting their real-life exploits in their daily life and professions, rather like a fly-on-the-wall documentary.
He said: “People may find it comical as it’s meant to make those taking part look absolute idiots.
“You’ll either love it or hate it.”
Mr Carlyon is one of the cast and took part in filming the series earlier this year. He is one of a few characters to be chosen for the entire series, of which the initial one will have six episodes.
Film crews also visited the paranormal researcher’s home and filmed in Hastings in 2012 in preparation for the programme.
Boom Town was voted the best new show at the 2013 SBS (pre-Cannes TV Festival) pitch session out of 47 different shows and made it into the top 10 at the Cannes TV Festival shortlist.
It is eventually hoped that the show will sell on to 18 countries.
