A convicted burglar from St Leonards wanted on prison recall has been arrested in Hastings.

Kesley Searle, of Southwater Road, was released on licence from Lewes prison on February 23.

The 22-year-old had been serving a three-year sentence for burglary imposed at Lewes Crown Court on April 8, 2013.

But he failed to comply with the conditions imposed and was consequently liable for immediate arrest and return to prison.

Police issued an appeal for information after Seale had not returned to prison on May 24.

Searle was arrested at an address in Hastings.
