Wanted men arrested in St Leonards

Two wanted people have been arrested in St Leonards.

James Hopgood, 33, and Darren Butler, 25, were arrested at Warrior Square railway station on September 17 by Sussex Police with the help of colleagues from British Transport Police.

Hopgood was wanted on recall to prison for breaching his licence conditions. He was subsequently charged with other outstanding offences of assault and fraud and has been remanded in custody.

Butler was also wanted on recall to prison.

Meanwhile a 17-year-old boy was arrested at Warrior Square in St Leonards and charged with possession of a bladed article.

He will appear at Hastings Youth Court on October 6.
