Scores of visitors attended this year’s hobbies and crafts fayre at Sacred Heart School as part of the annual Hastings Week celebrations.
The event ran on Saturday (October 18) and on Sunday (October 19).
There were more than a dozen stalls at the fayre, ranging from needle work and sewing to jewellery making and baking.
Visitors arrived to stock up on early festive gifts.
Hastings MP Amber Rudd took time out of her busy schedule to visit the hobbies and crafts fayre on Saturday to do a spot of early Christmas shopping.
She said: “I was amazed at the wonderful different exhibits on display and the variety of gifts and crafts on offer.
“There was everything from needlework to jewellery on offer.
“My favourite had to be the Snakes in Baskets, of which I naturally had to get one to kick start my Christmas shopping.
“I’d like to thank the organisers of this fantastic fayre and I hope the residents of Hastings and Rye take the opportunity in the run-up to Christmas to visit these fayres and buy little stocking fillers for the family. They make great gifts.”
The two-day hobbies and crafts fayre has become a staple ingredient for the annual Hastings Week festivities.
