A FREIGHT train has derailed at Mountfield this afternoon (Wednesday).
The train is believed to have come off the tracks just after 3pm.
All services between Robertsbridge and Hastings have been suspended and buses will replace trains until further notice.

“An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed.
“Southeastern would like to apologise to any passengers affected by the disruption.”
Network Rail are currently on the scene.
A spokesperson for Network Rail said: “A freight train derailment in the Robertsbridge area is blocking the line in both directions.
“All trains between Robertsbridge and Hastings are suspended and a bus replacement service is in operation.
“We are working with Southeastern to minimise disruption and apologise for any inconvenience.
