THREE people were injured when two cars crashed head-on on the A21 on Tuesday night.
A 45-year-old man from St Leonards suffered a suspected fractured collarbone and ribs in the collision.
The accident happened when his silver Fiat Stilo, heading southbound, crossed the centre line, hitting a black Ford C-Max heading in the opposite direction.
The crash occurred 200 metres south of the junction with Park Lane in Whatlington.
The male driver of the Ford and his female passenger, both aged 60 and from Kent, sustained slight injuries.
All three were taken to hospital.
The road was closed by police until just before 5pm.
