Three hurt in vicious attack outside Hastings pub

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman and two men were attacked in Pelham Place in the early hours of the morning.

The victims were stood outside The Carlisle pub after closing time when the assault took place between 12.30am and 1am on Sunday November 22.

The woman was bitten on the hand during the attack, while one of the men suffered a swollen eye and the other was left with bruising.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 762 of 23/11.

A 17-year-old boy from Hastings has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm.

After being questioned he was released on bail until Tuesday December 22, while enquiries continue.
