A man and a woman walked up to a 15-year-old schoolgirl and demanded she hand over hand bag in a shopping centre.

The incident happened between 7.30am and 8.12am at Priory Meadow on September 8 as she was walking to catch a bus.

It happened as she was walking between Mr Bean’s coffee house and the 02 mobile phone store.

She was approached by a man and woman who stopped her and asked her to hand over her earrings.

Among its contents were a Barclays Bank debit card, library cards, £15 cash, a bank statement and club cards.

The woman was white, of medium build, with long blonde hair, wearing a green puffy coat and blue trousers. She was holding a white carrier bag.

The man was white with a grey beard, 5’ 9”, of medium build and in his 40s. He was wearing a pink beanie hat.
