MUSICIAN Catherine Pluygers will play the oboe and talk about her 2004 visit to North Korea at the next public meeting of Bexhill & Hastings United Nations Association.
An active member of the association, Ms Pluygers will play relaxing music and relate her experiences and observations on the North Korean capital, Pyongyang.
She was invited to the city to perform at the Paril Spring Friendship Festival, which celebrates the birthday of the country’s late leader Kim Il-sung.
The event will be held at Cafe Number 48 at 48 Devonshire Road, Bexhill, and start at 4.30pm on Tuesday, July 2. Admission will be free and refreshments available.
