AT the next meeting of the Federation of Holistic Therapists Local Support Group on Wednesday, March 6 at 7.30pm our speaker will be Emma Chapman-Sharp who will be talking about The Chrysalis Effect, which is a supported online recovery programme for people with ME, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia (http://thechrysaliseffect.org/).
In addition, The Chrysalis Effect trains practitioners in how to better understand these conditions and gain better results with their clients. They offer one-day introductory workshops (the next is Saturday, April 13) and for those wanting to specialise in these conditions, they offer more in-depth training courses.
Both the workshops and training courses contain business-building content, to really help practitioners increase the number of clients they see, and increase the retention of clients for longer. The business strategies and a lot of the tools on offer at the workshop are applicable to clients with all conditions, not just ME, CFS and Fibromyalgia.
Our meetings are open to members of the FHT and non-members, so if you are a therapist, a client or a carer looking after someone with these conditions then come to the WRVS Centre, South Street, St Leonards and see how this remarkable programme may be able to help you. It’s also an opportunity to network with fellow therapists and promote your own work. You can be sure of a warm welcome.
